We are a family run, independent holiday company, with a lovely characterful cottage for relaxing breaks in Ashbourne, on the doorstep of the Peak District. The cottage is ideally suited for families and parties of four people. It is possible to add an extra bed if you have an extra person. It is a short walk from the centre of Ashbourne, past the historic and beautiful St Oswald’s church. You can also access the many footpaths and bridleways, including the Tissington Trail, straight from the cottage. The river and stepping stones at Dovedale are a short bike ride away. Ashbourne has plenty of places to eat and drink, and many small local independent shops, and a lovely historic market place.
We know how important it is to be able to unwind and enjoy a relaxing break and our cosy and comfortable two double bedroom cottage is available for holiday accommodation throughout the year.

This is the view towards Dovedale as you cross Thorpe Pasture, in the valley next to Thorpe Cloud. Its a lovely walk from Thorpe Station carpark to Dovedale.
